Welcome to the In Motion Fitness website! 

In Motion Fitness is owned by Kay Cowperthwait, who is certified by the American Council on Exercise as a Personal Trainer.   Kay offers individual training sessions to people in a variety of settings.  She works out of the Amherst College and Smith College Fitness Centers for members of the College communities, Universal Health and Fitness in Northampton, and occasionally out of people’s homes. 

Kay uses a combination of free weights, weight machines, stability balls, and medicine balls to help you achieve your fitness goals.  With an emphasis on unique programsfor each individual, Kay takes into account your goals, your available time, and your fitness level when working with you.  Kay works with people of all different fitness levels and abilities.
